TYPES OF LEFT HANDED PEOPLE
Among people who use the left hand we can preferentially
Find different types of lefties:
a) "True" left-handers are those also called "pure left-handed"
they have homogenous lateralization, that is to say right cerebral dominance for left eye, ear, hand and foot.
They are characterized by having greater sensitivity, easier movement
and greater precision, speed and strength with the left side.
b) "False" left-handed. They include three groups: right-handers who have lost functionality of the right hand (amputation, sequels of A.C.V., etc.) and resort to the use of the left hand; to the ambidextrous when they act with the left hand and finally to the lateralized right-handed that use the left hand as opposed to the environment or as identification with someone left-handed.
c) "Contradictory" left-handers. They are left-handed corrected by punishment or by psychomotor reeducation technique that develop the use of the right hand.
In inheritance or sinisterness the inheritance participates in the following way: when both parents are left-handed, 46% of the children can be left; when one of the parents is 12% of the children can be left-handed and when both parents are right-handed 4% of the children can be left-handed.
