Left and right handed

Left and right handed
However, scientific literature has not been able to prove that they are proportionately more creative, as explained by psychologist Chris McManus in his book Right Hand, Left Hand. In addition, the idea that creativity emanates from one cerebral hemisphere and the logic of the other is also flimsy in light of modern neuroscience; Although each of them can be strong in some cognitive aspects, they cannot be categorized simply as logical and creative, but share characteristics of both. Nor are there people who have one hemisphere more dominant than the other, as revealed in a paper published in 2013 by Jared Nielsen of the University of Utah (USA). Left-handed people are said to tend to concentrate on the inner world itself, but there are no studies that correlate personality and laterality.
In a 2013 work by Gina Grimshaw and Marc Wilson, of the University of Wellington (New Zealand), for which 662 of their students were surveyed, five personality traits were measured: extraversion, openness to new experiences, responsibility, kindness and emotional instability. However, left-handed and right-handed people showed no significant differences in any of these features.
Although it has been claimed that gifted associations, such as the international Mensa, have in their ranks a greater proportion of left-handed people, no link has been demonstrated between the use of one or the other hand with a greater or lesser intelligence quotient . However, according to research published in the British Journal of Psychology and based on data from the National Study of Child Development in the United Kingdom - carried out with 11,000 eleven-year-old children, right-handers proved to be slightly smarter.
