This is the question that usually makes me a lefty / wanting to enroll in my courses.
They have assumed that writing with the left hand sets have a nasty letter.
And it is not like that.
What I've noticed is that anyone ever bothered to teach the body posture and typing positions. They sat at the end of the room uncomfortable desks complicating the situation and allowed them to invent a way to write and take the pencil.
Result: a disaster.
So I dedicate them a greater concern to the course to take the pen in a right way and defining a position of the sheet in accordance with that.

I remember in the college made me write in the notebook without tilting what reason did that but complicate writing? That's worse in the case of a left-handed, as it will be impossible not to dirty the blade to move your hand over the newly written. So some left-handed folding hand written on the writing. They solve the demand of the teacher, but writing is transformed into a displeasure.
This is just an introduction to a very interesting topic, I think this is enough to show viability.
