The Gliga Gems II left-handed violin has been handcrafted in Romania with wood from the Carpathian Mountains, specifically from the Italian Valley, where it is known that Antonio Stradivari chose some of the woods used for his instruments. Gliga makes all its instruments by hand from the first pouring of wood to the final finish, mostly using oil varnishes in thin layers until achieving great transparency.
The antiqued final finish adds great warmth to the appearance of the instrument. The strength and precision of the sound makes this model suitable for intensive use in music schools. The Gliga Gems II left-handed violin comes assembled with Thomastik Alphayue strings, facilitating sound projection and improving the performance of the instrument.
